Ormond Church is endeavoring to raise $300,000 to purchase a facility to house local age‐out foster girls in order to prevent them from being coerced into sex trafficking and prostitution. Ageout foster girls are at the highest risk of being trafficked nationally as well as right here in our own community. We want to provide them with a safe place to stay so that they may continue their college education for free!

Since fundraising commenced in October 2015, we have raised over $40,000 enabling us to begin the initial launch phase of the very first Legacy House. On February 1st 2016 we began the lease purchase process of a facility as well as repairing the property, collecting furniture donations, and preparing the households for move in. The Legacy House will be prepared and available for qualifying age‐out foster girls to move in as early as April 1st 2016.

The Deck Down Under will be hosting Benefit Bunco on August 20th at 6pm. Face & Body Healthy Aging has partnered with them to support Legacy House.
